Continuing in the tradition for naming each year in the Chinese tradition 2019 is The Year Of The Radio. Starting in August members from the band planned to visit radio stations around the country to introduce This Way's Up! to unsuspecting audiences!
What a busy August it was! First up Artie and I went to WCNI in New London, CT, WRUI in Kingston, RI, after lunch in Newport of course! Our road manager, David Lyons, joined us on the trip, and after RI we headed to Troy, NY for a memorial show on WRPI. Hairmandoo wasn't feeling well and gave Artie and me almost the whole show! The following week Pat dialed into KHEN in Salida, CO for the first South West appearance.
The next trip took the three of us to all the way to Worcester, MA for a memorial night on Against The Grain on WICN. The following week Pat was in Ireland and dialed in for a slot on 103.2 Dublin City FM.
September had one more appearance this time in the North West in KMUD in Redwood, CA.
